I have spent all my adult life in defence related activities. For 5 years I worked as a trainer for anti-aircraft guns in several countries (UK, Spain, Saudi Arabia, and UAE). After returning to Switzerland, I joined the Swiss Armed Forces where I served for 34 years. My essential role in the creation and implementation of the Swiss Special Forces is well recognised.
Apart from my main activities in the Army, I trained anti-poaching units in Mozambique and South Africa, and am still helping those units with my concepts and advice.

I have 40 years of experience in teaching soldiers and cadre in the Swiss Armed Forces, Swiss Special Forces and abroad: in the Middle East and Africa. I held an essential role in the creation and implementation of numerous new techniques, tactics, and procedures (small arms, close-quarter battle, tactical first aid, fighting by night, amphibious, and more). I am also a Subject Matter Expert in various fields like small arms and ballistics, close-quarter battle, optronics, etc.
